Courtney believes that when you make wellness and loving self-care your ongoing priority, it creates a ripple effect of positivity that benefits all areas of your life (Ie. family, relationships, career, etc.). Creating a self-care plan that includes physical exercise, whole foods and a growth mindset is the formula that leads to enjoying a vibrant, productive and superior quality of life.
Prior to becoming a Wellness Coach, Courtney held several executive and sales leadership positions in a diverse range of industries including automotive, advertising, insurance, and elder care. By the age of 27, Courtney was leading her own sales team, travelling extensively across Canada and the US, and successfully launching new products throughout North America.
Courtney has successfully married her corporate sales and marketing success with her wellness passion and is helping companies and organizations locally and nationally effectively pitch, implement and sustain successful worksite wellness programs; significantly improving employee engagement, productivity, work-life balance, and the bottom line.
Courtney holds a B.A. in Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Masters in Women’s Studies from the University of Philadelphia. She is a IAWP Wellness Coach and professional member of the International Association of Wellness; an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist and has expertise in areas of holistic nutrition, pre & post natal fitness and yoga.
This East Coast gal grew up in the very small fishing community of ‘Leading Tickles’ in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. As a foodie she loves experimenting with new recipes and drinking good wine with family and friends. Most of all she loves being a mom and making smoothie mustaches while reading books to her daughter Mackenzie and son Nathan.
