Cinnamon Roasted Pears


Halve two pears and scoop out the core. Place one teaspoon of butter on each and sprinkle with cinnamon and coconut palm sugar (or raw honey).

If desired, add a topping such toasted nuts or seeds, or a square of 70% dark chocolate.

Wrap pears in 2 foil packages, each containing two pear halves, and bake in the campfire ashes for 20-25 minutes until the pears are soft.

Serve warm.
