Today I have a killer at-home Abs workout to share and you might be shocked to see that I haven’t included one crunch exercise in the entire workout.
Because the latest research proved that if you want a flat, tone and sexy mid-section you MUST stop wasting time doing traditional crunch exercises.
A new study out of Asia found that traditional ab exercises, like crunches and sit ups, do NOT work for losing belly fat. The scientists put 40 overweight women on a diet for 12 weeks. Half of the women also did a program of basic abdominal exercises a few times each week. At the end of the 12 weeks both groups of women lost weight, but there was absolutely NO benefits from the ab exercises. The exercise group didn’t lose any extra belly fat.
This study proves that traditional crunches and sit-ups are a complete “waist” of time – pardon the pun…lol!
