Seven Layer Protein Bars

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups gluten-free oats
1/2 cup plant-based, vanilla protein powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup coconut palm sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup egg whites
1/4 cup honey
2 ripe banana’s mashed
1/4 cup almond butter
2 tbsp. 70% cocoa chocolate chips
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a 9 x 9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl mix together the oats, protein powder, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
In a medium bowl mix together the almond milk, honey, bananas, almond butter and egg whites.
Add milk mixture slowly into oat mixture and stir until everything is combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the chocolate chips and coconut flakes over the batter.
Bake for 30-35minutes our until the bars are set.
Allow to cool complete and cut into 12 bars.
NOTE: These bars will stay fresh for up to one week in a covered container at room temperature or the refrigerator or freezer for approximently one month.
