Make Your Own Vitamin Water


Your body needs plenty of water to facilitate the breakdown of fat in your body. Drinking water will helps flush out toxins and keeps you energized so that your body can perform at its best.

Drinking water will keep your body clean and allow all of your organs to work properly instead of working overtime to keep your body going.

I recommend that you drink 8-12oz before each meal and another 8-12oz between meals. The more water you drink, the less water your body retains (Bye!Bye! water retention), the more you starve off cravings, the more toxins you flush out of your body and the happier your digestion.

Remember a HAPPY tummy is a FLAT tummy!!  🙂

Drinking enough water sounds so easy, yet it’s a habit so many of us struggling with.

Make your own Natural Vitamin Water!

Fill a pitcher with water add slices of cucumber, oranges, grapefruit and fresh mint. Choose amounts based on your tastes.

Not only do these ingredients make for a colorful and super refreshing beverage each ingredient plays a role in maximizing the nutritional effects of the water.

MINT – helps you digest more effectively, improves the flow of bile from the liver to the gallbladder, to the small intestine, where it breaks down dietary fats. Mint also helps relax cramped stomach muscles.

CUMCUMBER – acts as a natural diuretic, helps the body flush out toxins because it contains the organic compound citrulline, which is an amino acid that has been shown to help the liver, kidneys filter out and get rid of ammonia. Ammonia comes in external forms, but is also a by-product of the proteins our bodies are burning up constantly for energy, and it’s quite damaging to our cells. Watermelon has the same effect.

ORANGE – contains a chemical composition that increase sensitivity to insulin, stabilizes blood sugar and stimulates genes to burn fat.

GRAPEFRUIT – High in antioxidants and vitamin C which helps your body convert fat into fuel also aids the liver in flushing carcinogens (things linked to causing cancer, like stuff in cigarettes and tobacco, as well as some pre-pared foods) and possible pesticides out of the body.

 Once you have created your beautiful pitcher of naturally infused mineral water, allow it to sit for at least an hour – the longer it sits the better it tastes.
