I get asked quite often, “Courtney, what are the best exercises to do to get beautifully toned arms and a tight and tiny waist?”
Well ask no more!!! Here’s an Awesome Arms & Abs workout that I created for our Body Rescue Member Leah who wants to look toned and fabulous for an upcoming school reunion.
The workout is only 21 minutes and all you need is a set of dumbbells. You will be completing 5 exercises back-to-back, followed by 1min of cardio, with little rest, for a total of 4 rounds, consisting of two giant sets. Achieve more in less time with this fat burning, sexy muscle building workout.

Awesome Arms & Abs Workout
START: 60sec Warm-up – (20 sec Jogging on Spot, 20sec Push-ups, 20 sec Jumping Jacks)
Giant Set I: (Repeat twice)
- Push-ups – 40 seconds, 10 seconds rest
- Dumbbell Wide 2-Hand Bicep Curl – 40 seconds, 10 seconds rest (yes this is not me in the video, but it’s still the right one…lol)
- Dumbbell Bicep Hammer Curls– 40 seconds, 10 sec rest
- Plank Hips Drops – 40 seconds, rest 10 seconds
- Side Plank Hips Raises – 20 seconds per side no rest
- Skipping – 60 seconds
Giant Set II: (Repeat twice)
- Tricep Push-ups – 40 seconds, 10 seconds rest
- Dumbbell Overhead Tricep Extensions – 40 seconds, 10 sec rest (preform these standing NOT sitting)
- Dumbbell Tricep Kickbacks – 40 seconds, 10 sec rest
- Lying Leg Raises – 30 seconds, 15 sec rest
- Lying Bicycle Crunches – 30 seconds, 15 sec rest
- Skipping – 60 seconds
